This year the Reading Reps aim to:

Set up a library club during lunchtimes.

  • Advertise library club around the school.
  • Set up a library timetable with class teachers.
  • Set up a Reading Rep rota to help with library club responsibilities.
Launch the First Ministers Reading Challenge within school.

  • Sign up to FMRC for the whole school. Receive reading passports and wall stickers for infant classes.
  • Regular challenges to encourage and promote reading.
Purchase new books for library.

  • Reading Reps asked to gather top 3 favourite books from classes to get an idea of books to buy for the library with book vouchers.
