Sarah and Anja will both be performing at Midlothian Instrumental Music Service’s special online concert on the Midlothian Council Facebook page from 7pm on Thursday evening 18th June. Sarah is just leaving S6 at St David’s High School. She will be playing in big band and wind ensembles, and singing with the choir in Thursday’s concert. Anja, from Lasswade High School, will be singing solo, in the choir and providing backing vocals in the rock band. We can’t wait. These young ladies are just 2 of around 250 of Midlothian’s very talented music pupils. Remember for those who don’t have a Facebook account you should be able to tune in at the same time, 7pm, to Black Diamond FM where arrangements are being made for an almost simultaneous broadcast. We will also put the concert on the council’s YouTube pages afterwards.
